Reese returns to the small screen with Amazon and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator Aline Brosh McKenna with the new comedy series All-Stars, just weeks after it was revealed she’ll be back for a sequel to Elections.
Amazon acquired the popular property for its Prime Video platform in what was described as “a huge bidding war with major streamers,” via Term.
The series is loosely inspired by the true story of a woman named Andrea Kulberg, an American woman who came across the pond to teach British teenagers about cheerleading.

She uses her old cheerleading skills to turn a motley crew of British kids into All-Stars.

Witherspoon is said to have fulfilled her contractual obligation on Apple TV Plus’ The Morning Show, after recently wrapping up the third season, though it’s unclear if she’ll be written off the show or return.
His All-Stars deal is said to not prevent him from returning to the series if that were to come to pass.
Witherspoon will produce through his production company Hello Sunshine, which already produced the limited series Daisy Jones & the Six, which is scheduled to debut in March on Amazon Prime Video.
