Your Olympics viewing guide: How to make sure you don’t miss a single Aussie medal chance at the Paris Games

Australia is gearing up for an exciting performance at the Paris Olympics, with a host of medal contenders set to make waves across a range of events.

Our swimmers are expected to excel in the pool, although they will face stiff competition from traditional rivals in the US. The track and field contingent is also full of exciting prospects across multiple disciplines.

In team sports, the Matildas are the main contenders. The Australian Boomers and Opals also expect a big lead in medals in basketball, and the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos in field hockey.

Fans can also expect plenty of upsets and underdog victories as Australia aims for a record medal haul in Paris. Here are the competitors to watch out for – and when to tune in (all times are AEST)…
