The new options can be found in the Parental Controls section of Fortnite‘s menu, or in a browser in the Epic Account Portal. This is where a parent or guardian can limit the daily limit Fortnite time, choose the time periods in which a child can play, and let the child (or not) request more play time. In practice, a child can see their time limit and window in the game, with a notification appearing when they have 30 minutes of play time left. Both Fortnite and Unreal Editor for Fortnite will no longer be available once that time has passed.
Time limits work across platforms, as long as the account they apply to is the same. Meanwhile, time reports are essentially a record of the time a player has spent Fortnite — regardless of whether deadlines have been set.
