A young expat has been criticized by thousands after claiming Australians are “boring” at concerts.
Mila Panchev, 20, attended the Ed Sheeran concert in Brisbane on February 19 and was surprised by how many people sat down during the show.
‘Why is the Australian crowd so dead? You will never see a person sitting down at a concert in Europe. Like it’s THE singing of Ed Sheeran,” Mila wrote in a video.
The mixed age crowd can be seen having some fun with some jumping jacks as the mega superstar performs on stage in the center of the stadium.
However, others seem to be sitting in chairs both on the ground floor and on the surrounding levels.

The short video, which has now been viewed more than 1.1 million times, drew hundreds of comments mocking Mila’s statement.
‘Ed Sheeran is good. But he doesn’t have those really over the top songs like AC/DC,” one person wrote.
Another agreed, stating that the crowd wasn’t “dead,” they were just “attending an Ed Sheeran concert.”
A third added: “The one I went to the other night, everyone on the floor was on their feet.”
Some added that the crowd is filled with mostly ‘Generation X’ people, who would want to sit down to enjoy the live show.
But some agreed with Mila and one woman wrote: “OMG I thought the same thing, I was one of the only people dancing in my section.”
‘I respect. Not everyone can bear. As someone who drives people in wheelchairs who can’t, I appreciate everyone who stays seated!’ another wrote.
Others suggested there would be a stark contrast at Harry Styles’ ‘Love on Tour’ concert, which will also take place at the end of February.
And the fans were right as Harry has not disappointed during the Australian leg of his tour.
So far, she rocked an iconic Bunnings Warehouse straw hat at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Friday night and sang a rendition of her famous song The Horses on Saturday night.
Videos surfaced on TikTok of fans going wild during both notable moments.
