A young trader has died after a workplace incident in a shopping mall.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed paramedics responded to an incident at about 11am on Thursday, with a 25-year-old taken to hospital following an incident at the North Blackburn shopping center construction site.
Police said the South Morang man suffered life-threatening injuries before dying in hospital.

The man, who is from South Morang, suffered life-threatening injuries and was treated by emergency services, but died in hospital
It is clear that the man was a plumber who worked on the construction site of the North Blackburn Shopping Center operated by Maben Group.
The police are investigating the incident together with WorkSafe and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
