A woman killed in a two-vehicle crash has been identified as a young mother.
Sarah White died after her Suzuki SUV struck a Hyundai SUV on the New England Highway about 40km north of Armidale, northern NSW, at about 10.30am on Friday.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 20-year-old woman and a six-month-old baby, were taken to Armidale Hospital with minor injuries.
Ms White’s devastated sister Kayla shared a tribute on Sunday, thanking her community for supporting their family.
‘Our smiles are no longer quite the same, but the love we feel is. If only we could wake up from this horrible dream,” Kayla wrote.
‘The past few days have been the hardest days of our lives.
‘I would like to thank you for all the messages for the food, for the love and support we have received, we see your messages and we appreciate them all.
“We won’t abandon you, sister, and we know Nan has you close in her arms.
