Young man killed when car crashes into pole in Fitzroy North, Melbourne
A young man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy.
Police were called to St Georges Rd, near Watkins St, Fitzroy North, at around 11.30pm where they found a car lying on its side.
Initial reports indicate the car crashed into a pole before rolling and eventually ending up in front of a church.

St George’s Road remains closed in both directions between Reid and Church Street.
