A young driver who allegedly roamed his neighborhood in an unregistered, defective car He has been charged with more than 100 crimes.
The 21-year-old was arrested while driving an allegedly faulty and uninsured Ford Falcon at Caleys Court in Lockrose, west of Brisbane, on February 18.
During footage of the arrest, a Queensland police officer can be heard saying he received at least seven videos of the car that allegedly burned up on the roads of the Darling Downs area between February 7 and 18.
“This should never be on the road,” the officer says.
The car was allegedly at the center of investigations into dangerous driving offenses in the area.
The 21-year-old was arrested while driving an allegedly faulty and uninsured Ford Falcon at Caleys Court in Lockrose, west of Brisbane, on February 18.
During his initial arrest, he was originally charged with various crimes, but following investigations and an analysis of his mobile phone, the 21-year-old was detained on March 1 and received a total of 107 charges.
The offenses included 23 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and 25 counts each of an unregistered vehicle, an uninsured vehicle and a defective vehicle.
He was also charged with seven counts of supplying dangerous drugs and one count of possession of anything for use in the commission of a crime and driving while using a mobile phone.

The 21-year-old man will appear in Gatton Magistrate Court on April 24. Investigations are ongoing and police are calling for anyone with information to come forward.
