A driver has been charged after a multi-vehicle accident left five people hospitalized.
The 22-year-old man is believed to have caused the six-car collision on Liverpool Road in Strathfield, Sydney’s inner-west, at 6.50pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated the victims at the scene before taking them to Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals in stable condition.

The people injured in the crash were all males aged 24, 30 and 41, two were 28 years old.
The young driver, from Greenacre, was arrested and taken to Auburn police station.
He was charged with five counts of causing bodily harm by misconduct while in charge of a motor vehicle and possession of a banned drug.
Other charges included a vehicle that was taken without owner’s permission and failed to stop and provide assistance.

The hoods of several cars were ripped apart and sprawled across the road.
The 22-year-old driver was refused bail and was due to appear before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
Maroon police officers have identified a crime scene and are conducting an investigation.
The Crash Investigation Unit has also launched an investigation into the incident.
