A young boy has been rushed to hospital after plummeting several metres to the ground from a balcony.
The child fell from a unit balcony onto a concrete path in Penshurst, in south Sydney at about 4pm on Saturday.
He was placed in a stretcher and treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital.

The extent of the child’s injuries are unclear but he is understood to be conscious.
NSW Ambulance confirmed multiple road crews attended the scene.
It’s understood the fall was an accident and investigations are continuing.
