“Quick question: At what point did it become normal to pay $13 for juice at a cafe?” Voulgaris asked.

‘Do you know what I mean? In fact, at what point did it become normal to pay seven dollars for a bag of chips?

“Better yet, $4.50 for damn sushi. You’re literally eating out – $70. Unless you want a kebab for dinner.”

Voulgaris ended his rant by joking that he needed a “word” on inflation.

“I need to talk to Mr. or Mrs. Inflation, or if it’s not binary, just about inflation,” he said.
