You’ll soon be able to stream even more free movies and shows as DirecTV announces a new service

The top free streaming services are about to get new competition, as DirecTV announces plans to launch its own free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service on November 15.

The satellite TV provider, known for its live TV service DirecTV Stream (formerly known as DirecTV Now), offers access to more than 150 network, local and sports channels. Not all of these will be available through the new service; instead, DirecTV has said it will give viewers access to “curated FAST Channel content.”
