You’ll soon be able to play two games side by side on Google Play Games for PCs

Google is rolling out new features to its Google Play Store on Android. One of the updates focuses on gaming. In an interesting development, Play Games users on PC will be able to play two games at once. Players will be able to play one game in one window and another game on another screen. Google Play lets players jump back and forth between mobile and PC, while keeping progress intact.

Soon, players will be able to watch the progress bar in one game gradually tick away while they are actively playing the other game. This is useful for those times when a player finds a game they don’t want to quit, but also don’t want to spend more money to upgrade. When the player wants to switch to another game, they can simply switch to the other game and all the controls will remain the same, even if they are playing with a gamepad. Both games will continue to run simultaneously.

Google Play Games

“Google Play Games on PC helps you play the games you love on more devices. You can start a mobile game on the go and lock in the win at home on your tablet or PC. With our new multi-game capabilities rolling out in the coming weeks, PC gamers can play multiple titles at once — actively competing in one, while keeping an eye on resources in another.” Google has outlined in its product updates how they are further developing Google Play.

Some players may find this upgrade useful, especially when playing a two-player game or waiting for a reaction from a distant opponent. Additionally, Google has added super weekly prizes to its Play Points rewards program.

Play Games for PC was launched by Google in beta in 2022.
