You have the eyes of a marksman if you can spot the sniper hiding in this snowy landscape, but how fast can you spot him?

Sharp focus, able to cope with stress and the ability to disguise yourself from the enemy – these are just some of the qualities that a sniper should have.

But most importantly, any top-level shooter should be able to pick their target in a matter of seconds.

Since 2010, photographer Simon Menner from Germany has been photographing army snipers hiding in various desert landscapes.

Last year, the photographer traveled to Lithuania to capture his army marksmen in action, but can you spot the one in costume in this snowy landscape below?

Simon Menner traveled to Lithuania last year, where he captured this image of a sniper hiding in plain sight. So, can YOU find the shooter inside the snowy scene?

In a previous interview with Wired, Simon said that he enjoyed challenging art fans with this work of his.

He said: ‘They look for the sniper and they think they found them, but then they start to question themselves. That seems fascinating to me.

At first glance, some might think that the forest environment would be the perfect setting for camouflage.

But if you’re struggling to spot them, it’s worth taking a closer look at the deserted building.

The sniper was in disguise on the second floor of the abandoned building.

Hiding on the second floor, the sniper can be seen looking directly into the camera from the window directly above the front door.

Although he has been photographing snipers for more than a decade, Simon says he still struggles to find them in his own images.

He added: “I like this project because the key aspect of the photos is not visible.”
