You can stream The Rings of Power for free on Samsung TV Plus ahead of the season 2 premiere on Prime Video

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is one of the most exciting shows on Prime Video — and now you can watch the entire season for free without any subscription fees. Between now and August 28, Samsung TV and Samsung Galaxy owners in the US, Canada, Brazil, the UK, and Germany can stream the entire season on demand via Samsung TV Plus. That’s more than 300 million potential viewers.

That’s not only important because it’s one of the best Prime Video shows, but also because it’s the first time the entire season is available without a subscription. All you have to do is sit through a few ads, as Samsung TV Plus is a FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) channel.

As we in our The Rings of Power review, this is “epic fantasy at its magical best; a series that simultaneously honors the legendary works of JRR Tolkien and tells a compelling original story set in a fictional world steeped in a breathtaking amount of history.” It’s a visual and auditory feast that forges closer ties with The Lord of the Ring books, and while the pace can be a little off at times, you can’t deny that the on-screen spectacle is underwhelming. It’s a jewel in Prime Video’s crown, so it’s a steal to be able to watch it for free.

When is The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 coming to Prime Video?

Once you’ve binged all of Season 1 on Samsung TV Plus, you won’t have to wait long to watch Season 2—or at least not if you have a Prime Video subscription. That’s because The Rings of Power Season 2 will be available on Prime Video from August 29, the day after Season 1 ends on Samsung TV Plus.

However, you don’t need to rush through the second season, even though you might find yourself yearning for it after watching it. The Rings of Power Season 2 trailer. Prime Video will release the first three episodes in late August, but after that it will slow down a bit with new episodes released weekly until the finale, which starts streaming on October 3.

In the US and Canada you can watch the show on The Rings of Power Channel 1003 and in the US on Movie Hub channel 1200, Movie Hub West channel 1201, Movie Hub Action channel 1204, All Action channel 1204 and on demand. German viewers can tune in to Entertainment Mix channel 4001 or watch on demand, and UK and Brazilian users can watch on demand.
