Yorkshire shepherdess Amanda Owen has broken her social media silence after she was revealed to be having a five-year affair.
The TV personality, 48, who rose to fame in 2018 in Channel 5’s fly-on-the-wall documentary Our Yorkshire Farm, alluded to “trials and tribulations” when she took to Instagram on Sunday.
Amanda was recently revealed to have had a five-year affair with married businessman Robert Davies, 71, and to be living separately from husband Clive, 68, after they announced their separation in June.
But fans were excited to see Amanda back on social media this weekend as she shared some photos of her kids on the farm in the countryside.
The movie star, who shares nine children with ex Clive, showed off some of her offspring as they helped out during spring lambing season.

However, things took a turn for the worse earlier this month after Robert’s wife Yasumi, 56, accused Amanda of living a ‘TV lie’ after she fumbled the affair, as fans also criticized her for not keeping them informed about her personal to live.
Prior to today, her most recent Instagram post included a gallery of her nine children playing outside on the farm.
She wrote: “Buddha naturists, botanists, ecologists, ornithologists, hydrologists, geologists. And farmers. #yorkshire #countryside #outdoors #nature #farm #learning.’
Her image of a devoted farm wife and mother has been shattered by the news that she was leading a double life, having an affair while married to her husband of whom she was 22 years old, who appears on the show with her.
Yasumi claimed that she “lost everything” after learning about Amanda’s relationship with Robert whom she married 12 years ago.
The clandestine affair between the star and Mr Davies started when she rose to fame in the TV hit Our Yorkshire Farm.
She enlisted the web developer to work on her website.
The affair came to light after Yasumi found a note from the Yorkshire Shepherdess in Robert’s car and a box containing Amanda’s belongings hidden in her bedroom.

More pain: Yasumi, (pictured with Robert), discovered some of Amanda’s jewelry hidden in a box in their bedroom, including a necklace that read, “Together forever”
Her findings followed the breakdown of Amanda’s 22-year marriage to husband Clive in June – with whom she shares nine children.
The note was hidden by Robert in a bag in the trunk of the car.
Heartbreakingly, the contents showed the depth of feelings between the two and the note read, “Life is too short and happiness is too rare.” I love you.’
Tokyo-based investment banker Yasumi recognized the handwriting on a signed copy of Owen’s new book, as Robert had been working with Amanda on her personal website.
Yasumi said the businessman was “very nice” until she noticed a sudden change in his behavior towards her in 2018 after he started working with Amanda on her farming website.
After finding the note, Yasumi went looking for more clues and she told The Sun that she then discovered some of Owen’s jewelry hidden in a box in their bedroom, including a necklace she had worn on TV that read : ‘Together forever.’
Yasumi, who married Mr. Davies on Christmas Day in 2011 after a whirlwind romance, later discovered a keyring that read, “Unbridled love. R&A.’
Mr Davies, whose eldest daughter is the same age as Amanda, immediately confessed to the affair when Yasumi confronted her husband, who has had five wives.

He had said he would end the affair, but he and Amanda soon resumed their relationship.
Yasumi claimed that Robert seemed more concerned about the damage the affair could do to Amanda’s TV career than her own feelings.
Amanda has known her new love Robert for at least five years since she recruited him to update her personal website in 2018.
Their friendship is believed to have blossomed through working closely together.
A source close to Yasumi said, “She knew he had a friendship with Amanda but thought it was nothing more.
“They went on a clay pigeon shoot together in 2021 and he went on theater tours with her, but insisted there was nothing more to it.”
About: They shared a joint statement on their social media platforms confirming that they had split in June last year
Yasumi said, “I wonder if she ever thought about my feelings?
‘I knew nothing and I was alone. I had no suspicions about them. I thought it was purely about business.’
It is understood that Robert, who has three children from three previous marriages, ended the relationship with Amanda in March 2022 after his wife gave him an ultimatum.
But he moved on two months later after rekindling the romance with the Our Yorkshire Farm star.
Amanda and her husband Clive drew thousands of adoring fans as the series documented her farming life and earned her over £1 million.
But the details of Amanda’s shocking fling came out almost a year after she and her co-star husband Clive announced their unexpected split in June.
However, the TV star was keen to downplay the divorce, saying it was “not a big story.”
Family: The former couple have nine children together; Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie and Nancy
Appearing in Lorraine in January, Amanda insisted her marriage’s collapse was “a reality she had to deal with” as she juggled the responsibilities of farm management and parenting.
The pair maintain a friendly relationship as they manage their Ravenseat Farm in rural Swaledale, and Amanda said their duties overshadow their estrangement.
She said, “It’s not a big story. I feel like there are so many people in similar situations, and it’s the reality. We talk about reality television, but that’s reality.
‘We all have to move on. You know, there’s a lot to do. There’s the land to manage, there’s the animals to manage, obviously childcare and everything else. So we have to get to work with it.’
