Yes, architect Megan Davis makes a fuss about the ABC not being biased enough – before embarrassingly withdrawing

A key architect of the Voice to Parliament slammed the ABC for providing a platform to the leaders of the No campaign.

Professor Megan Davis took to Twitter to share her outrage that David Speers had not interviewed campaigner Warren Mundine on the ABC’s Insiders programme, in a tweet that has since been deleted.

“It’s amazing to me that the ABC Insiders show has WARREN MUNDINE this morning,” she wrote, according to The Australian.

‘ABC continuously platforms the NO campaign. #Insiders’.

Liberal Senator Liddle appeared in a segment moderated by Speers on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, the ABC also broadcast Indigenous opposition spokeswoman Jacinta Nampijinpa Price’s speech at the National Press Club in Canberra.

Prof Davis left other tweets criticizing Insiders and its host David Speers.

‘The Voice will focus on what is urgent for the mafia. It will probably make statements about running water (which Jacinta thinks Aboriginal communities have) and not about Australia Day (which Mundine says should be changed). “No” is clearly out of touch with communities. #insiders,” she wrote.

She also tweeted calls for an investigation into ABC’s news director.

“ABC’s obvious campaign against YES is concerning,” said a tweet from Ash Leahy.

‘There is a clear editorial guideline here, the MD and news director should be questioned.’

“Read it for yourself,” he wrote.

‘I don’t believe history places Aboriginal people at a disadvantage. I believe that Aboriginal people can get ahead and that economic participation is the key.”
