Fisher fell instantly and fan calls could be difficult for BT Sport’s live coverage of the game.
Following the injury, Ndi could be seen visibly shaken and consoled by his teammates.
The stewards had formed a wall to block the view of the player being treated by the fans.
The game was 1-0 to Southend at the time of the incident through Jake Hyde’s opening goal, and ended 2-0 after Rhys Murphy scored a second.
The Essex-based side currently sit ninth in the National League table as they try to respond to relegation from the Football League two years ago.
Meanwhile, Yeovil sits 21st in the table and faces another potential relegation.
And their job became more difficult, with joint top scorer Fisher facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
