Yellowstone femme fatale Sarah Atwood strips to lingerie as her evil plot is exposed in bombshell new episode

Paramount Network’s hit series Yellowstone finally returned on Sunday with the first of its final six episodes, revealing who was responsible for the death of Kevin Costner’s beloved character John Dutton.

After the 69-year-old actor had a scheduling conflict over his Horizon films, he left the show, with Paramount announcing that season 5 would be its last.

Since Costner never filmed any part of Season 5, Part 2, many fans assumed he would be killed off pretty soon, and they were right.

Just minutes into the episode, it was revealed that Dutton was found dead at the governor’s mansion, with all early signs pointing to suicide.

However, as the episode progressed, it became clear that one person was responsible: Sarah Atwood’s new girlfriend (Dawn Olivieri), Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley), and a lawyer for Market Equities… the company fighting for land against the Dutton -ranch.

Atwood debuted in the second episode of season 5, brought in by Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver), CEO of Market Equities.

She came to Montana and immediately set her sights on Jamie, Montana’s attorney general who initially wanted to run for governor until John abruptly intervened.

While Jamie was still angry about his father’s selection for the role he himself hoped to play, Sarah managed to worm her way into Jamie’s life… and eventually into his bed.

Despite Jamie’s family waging a figurative war with her company Market Equities, they continued to see each other.

Jamie even convinced herself that she was with him to try to hurt him, but in the end she convinced him that she was there for him, and him alone.

After his father John placed the massive Yellowstone Dutton Ranch under a conservation easement, Jamie became enraged because he knew this action would open the ranch to lawsuits that could ultimately bankrupt the state.

That led to Jamie calling for his father to be deposed, although he also discussed the possibility of possibly having his father killed.

Sarah revealed that she knew companies that specialized in making murders look like accidents, a conversation she apparently believed was Jamie giving her permission to order the murder.

Sarah meets a man named Grant (Matt Gerald) from one of those companies, who insists that suicide is the best option for her situation.

Towards the end of the episode, Jamie breaks down in tears when he gets home, when he finds Sarah and tells him, “That wasn’t the reaction I expected,” as Jamie realizes she ordered the hit, which fans are not happy about were along. .

@BroGod4Life added in another tweet: “Sarah, if you think Jamie is protected, you don’t know the Dutton family like he does, they are coming for him and you too, so you best get some protection too.”

With John Dutton dead, this could pave the way for Jamie to be elected the new governor after a special election.

Whether or not the audience finds out about Jamie and Sarah’s arguments, or their involvement in John’s murder, remains to be seen.

Season 5, Part 2 of Yellowstone will span a total of six episodes, all airing Sunday nights at 8pm ET on Paramount Network.

The final episode airs on Sunday, December 15, with Paramount Network also eyeing a pair of new spinoffs to take over the flagship series.
