Paramount Network ended the popular Yellowstone series on Sunday, largely dividing its legions of fans.
Last week’s episode ended with Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) teasing that he was going to save the ranch by giving it away.
As expected, he actually gave the ranch away to its rightful owners – the Broken Rock Indians, and sold it for the price of land in 1883, when John Dutton’s ancestors first seized the land – $1.25 per acre, only $1.1 million for the largest ranch in the world. Montana.
Beth (Kelly Reilly) also kept her promise and killed her brother Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley), seemingly the last person dropped off at the show’s proverbial “train station.”
Beth and Rip (Cole Hauser) also bought a brand new ranch, while Kayce, Monica (Kelsey Asbille), and Tate (Brecken Merrill) kept the East Camp portion of the sprawling ranch, while the rest moved back to the reservation.
With all the main storylines wrapped up, many showed their love for the finale on social media, while others slammed it, with some even claiming it was worse than the final season of Game of Thrones.

@njramen wondered: ‘? Hmm, after that finale I’m wondering what the premise of the next Beth and Rip season/spinoff will be. I guess we’ll see.’
Last week, Paramount greenlit a new spinoff starring Rip and Beth, which will apparently follow their lives on the new ranch they purchased.
