Yebble, WA: Major ocean rescue operation underway to save the life of woman surfer suffering serious spinal injuries

Western Australian emergency services have launched a major rescue operation to save the life of an injured surfer in the state’s south-west.

A young woman in her 20s is said to have suffered a back injury while surfing near the left-handed break at Yebble, near Margaret River, on Friday morning.

The RAC rescue helicopter responded to the scene to assist state emergency services and paramedics on site.
