Manchester City legend Yaya Toure has been involved in the England Under-21 preparations for their upcoming matches against Italy and Germany.

The iconic Ivorian is completing his coaching badges and currently works at Tottenham’s academy.

He landed a role in the Under-16s of the north London club, who also added Jermain Defoe to their coaching staff in the summer.

He has now joined Lee Carsley and Joleon Lescott to coach England under 21

And part of Toure’s education has seen the former Premier League star travel to St George’s Park to work within Lee Carsley’s coaching team.

Toure’s former City teammate Joleon Lescott is also part of Carsley’s coaching staff.

Touré shadows the Under-21 lineup as he works towards completing his badges.

Touré won three league titles with Man City and is now making his way into the game as a coach

His presence at the national football center has brought those players within Carsley’s team of invaluable experience to the highest level.

Toure won three Premier League titles with City plus two La Liga and a Champions League with Barcelona.

England Under-21 secured their place at Euro 2023 last month, winning eight of their 10 qualifiers, and can now use Italy and Germany’s matches as they prepare for next year’s tournament in Romania and Georgia.
