Yankees pitcher Anthony Misiewicz was hit in the head by a line drive in a terrifying scene on Friday night.
Misiewicz pitched in the bottom of the sixth inning vs. the Pirates and threw a strike over the middle of the plate to Ji Hwan Bae.
The Pittsburgh player sent the ball flying from his bat at a whopping 100 miles per hour, hitting Misiewicz in the head, immediately sending him to the ground and appearing to bleed.
After the game, in which Pittsburgh tied the game, Misiewicz quickly received medical attention on the field.
