WFAN radio announcer Suzyn Waldman was caught on a hot microphone voicing her thoughts on the Yankees during Tuesday night’s tough 2-1 loss to the Nationals.

The result condemned New York to its ninth straight loss, marking its worst losing streak since the 1982 season.

During WFAN’s broadcast of the game, a commercial nearly ended before Waldman was heard to say, “God, this is boring.”

Although it was obviously not intended that this would be broadcast, it was. The slip occurred before the start of the fifth inning.

At that point, the game was tied at 1-1 before the Nationals took the lead in the eighth inning.

The Bronx Bombers are now winless since taking care of the Marlins on August 11 in Miami.

September 13 to 21, 1982 was specifically the last time New York lost that many games in a row.

During that season, the franchise employed three managers; Bob Lemon, Gene Michael and Clyde King.

The Bronx Bombers have a chance to break the unwanted record tonight in their second of three games against the Nats.
