While some fans headed to Yankee Stadium to watch an exciting game against the Baltimore Orioles, some were treated to their own show when a squirrel ran right in front of them.

At one point during the game, YES Network cameras spotted a squirrel charging out in front of some fans in the front row of the stands on the outfield.

The rodent perched atop the padded wall in right field before taking off in front of about eight fans.

Their reactions were captured on camera and rendered in slow-mo, their shocked looks perfectly framing the squirrel’s frenzied flight to the field as it lost its footing and jumped onto the warning track.

The Twitter response was swift, with many mocking the looks of those in the stands, while others laughed at the squirrel’s boldness.
