You can experience Dolby Vision gaming and Dolby Atmos on Xbox Series X|S, but which games support both of these technologies?
Dolby Atmos support has been on the cards since Xbox One debuted in 2017, and it’s now arrived on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. A license is required to use the spatial audio technology on headphones, but it’s free to use on soundbars and speakers. Some headsets come with a free license, such as the Xbox Wireless Headset.
Spatial audio is especially easy to find this time of year. While Cyber Monday 2022 sales kick off on and around November 28 it’s a good time to check out some fantastic deals on the best gaming headsets and Cyber Monday Xbox deals in general. Dolby Vision gaming requires a compatible display, but is also accessible to those who can enable it. Currently, however, not every TV that supports Dolby Vision gaming can output at 120 Hz, but Microsoft and Dolby are working closely with TV manufacturers to update more screens. This will be done in the future via a firmware update, which previously happened with the LG CX.
To get the most out of this, check out how to enable 120Hz on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S first. Otherwise, check out the full list below for every Xbox Series X|S game with support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. We’ve also put together a full list of PS5 and Xbox Series X games with 120fps support, if you’re interested.
