Xbox has announced a new special edition controller, and this time it’s edible
Xbox has been fairly consistent in its partnerships to bring special edition hardware to the table. Earlier this year we saw bright pink controllers for the release of Barbie and a pizza-scented controller to coincide with the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Chaosbut the company’s latest collaboration is one you might want to sink your teeth into.
To celebrate the release of Wonka On December 15, Xbox partners with Warner Bros. Pictures to get a Wonkathemed Xbox Series X console, controller and set of chocolates. The console is shaped like a Wonka brand chocolate bar, complete with gold Wonka branding on the front and the accompanying controller has a matching burgundy color Wonka‘s jacket.
These are not the only elements of the collaboration; In a first for the brand, a fully edible Xbox controller made of solid chocolate, wrapped in gold foil, is made to sit next to the console.
But this collection of goodies isn’t for sale, and in true Xbox sweepstakes, the console and its accessories are only available as a prize for a contest hosted on Twitter. To enter, you must follow Xbox on Twitter and retweet the Xbox Wonka Raffle announcement, which you can find below:
