Microsoft is holding its annual Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, June 11, where the publisher promises “new surprises and first looks” from Xbox Game Studios and its third-party partners. That showcase will be followed by Bethesda’s Starfield Direct livestream, which will reportedly offer “new gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes inside information” on Star field.
The Xbox Games Showcase starts at 1PM EST/10AM PST and will be streamed on Xbox’s YouTube, TwitchAnd Facebook channels, Microsoft said in a message Xbox thread.
This year’s Xbox Games Showcase will focus on games for Xbox, PC and Game Pass, Microsoft said, but the company didn’t say what games viewers can expect outside Star field.
Xbox Game Studios’ announced roster includes games like the new Turn 10 Studios Forza Motorsport (expected sometime this year), New is The Initiative Perfectly darkNinja Theory Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2Playground Games’ new FableRare ones Everwildand Obsidian Entertainment Granted And The outside worlds 2. Bethesda Game Studios has also announced that a new Elder Scrolls game is in development, while Wolfenstein creator MachineGames is working on an Indiana Jones game. Star field is scheduled for release on September 6.
The Xbox Games Showcase was supposed to kick off the series of digital events planned for this year’s E3 2023, but that event was canceled in April.
