Barcelona manager Xavi is set for crucial talks with Dutch star Memphis Depay and the striker reportedly wants to move away from the Catalan club.
Depay is said to have reached an agreement with La Liga rivals Atlético Madrid and his current club are currently “reluctant to let him go”.
On Wednesday, Xavi revealed that he will speak with Memphis to directly assess the situation.

The Dutch international has struggled this season, making just four appearances and scoring one goal in 206 total minutes.
A mix of injuries and form issues have blighted his 2022-23 season thus far. Most notably, a thigh problem kept him out throughout October and into November.
Since returning from the World Cup, he has been an unused substitute in four of Barcelona’s five games, including a 1-0 win over potential next destination Atlético Madrid.
Depay has reportedly agreed terms with Atlético Madrid over a move by the league leaders.

However, the report also adds that Barca will be reluctant to let Memphis leave on a free transfer, even though he is underdog, they still want to negotiate a fee.
Memphis currently has six months left on his contract with the Nou Camp before he can individually negotiate a summer move.
