Xabi Alonso is reportedly the favorite to succeed Gerardo Seoane as Bayer Leverkusen manager.
The German club got off to a sad start to the new season, with just five points from eight games making it the second lowest team in the Bundesliga.
And now Leverkusen is reportedly considering Seoane’s future at the club after their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich star Alonso is the top contender to take over at the BayArena, according to ESPN.
