X-ray shows treasured item woman accidentally swallowed while taking her vitamins

Shocking X-rays showed the moment a woman realized her missing diamond wedding ring was inside her after accidentally swallowing it.

Dannah McMichael, 39, was in Thailand with her husband, ex-NFL star Randy McMichael, 45, when she said she swallowed her wedding ring while taking vitamins.

“We went out for dinner and drinks and when I got back I wanted to take a shower,” she explained.

‘Without looking, I threw it all in my mouth and washed it down with water.’

McMichael, a travel blogger, said the mistake came when she was “out of jet lag” after a long day of traveling to Phuket town.

She told me Fox News that after swallowing the ring she immediately started choking, but thinks it was a magnesium pill that caused her to choke instead of the ring.

“When I started choking on the pills and noticed my ring was missing, I knew something was wrong,” she said.

She said she and her husband, who is best known for his time with the Miami Dolphins in the early 2000s, initially only joked about the possibility of her swallowing the ring when they first looked for it.

But after two days passed without any sign of the ring, McMichael said she decided to get an X-ray at a local clinic.

“We couldn’t believe it,” she said of the moment she saw the ring on the screen. She shared a video of the moment with the caption: “I got my ring back. Wait, I never lost it. It was always with me.’

Luckily, McMichael saw the funny side and said it was “the funniest thing that ever happened to me.”

She added that her husband was just as happy, admitting to her that he thought a hotel employee might have “swiped it.”

McMichael told Fox News that medics assured her the ring was nothing to worry about, and said she passed through it naturally a few days later.

“I swallowed it on Sunday and passed it on Wednesday or Thursday,” she said. “No pain at all.”
