X Factor’s Cher Lloyd makes triumphant return to the stage at Mighty Hoopla festival almost 15 years after she first found fame on ITV show
Cher Lloyd returned to the stage on Saturday for the first time in almost two years.
The 30-year-old singer hasn’t performed since 2022, but impressed the crowd at London’s Mighty Hoopla music festival last weekend.
Cher showed off her toned stomach in a diamond-studded crop top and donned red army pants for her turn on stage.
In terms of makeup, she went for a natural look and teamed it with a pair of chunky hoop earrings, while she tied her dark locks up in a ponytail.
The pop star opened her mini set with the song Oath, then sang Want U Back and None Of Your Business before closing with her signature song Swagger Jagger.

Cher shot to fame in 2010 when she took part in The X Factor with a standout audition in which she performed the Keri Hilson version of the Souja Boy song Turn My Swag On.
She was mentored by Cheryl throughout the series and finished in fourth place behind One Direction, Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle.
She quickly released her debut album Sticks + Stones and then Sorry I’m Late in 2014, but has only released a handful of singles since.
In 2012 she got engaged to Craig Monk and they married the following year before briefly moving to the US and having Delilah-Rae, six, and Eliza Violet, nine months, on their return to Britain.
Her triumphant appearance comes just weeks after she shared a warning with her followers on Instagram after experiencing brake failure in her car while driving with her daughters.
Explaining what happened, she shared a photo of her car and wrote: ‘This is my Ford Ranger. My brakes completely failed without warning while driving with my baby and my 5 year old.
‘Total engine failure due to the wet tire. For anyone who has one or is thinking of buying one: PLEASE NOTE! I count my lucky stars that my family is safe. However, this beautiful vehicle was retired well before her time @forduk.”

Reflecting on her ‘diva’ persona during her time on The X Factor, Cher told Fabulous magazine in 2012: ‘I was an animal! Everyone hated me.
‘I was young and foolish. Part of me tried to show that I was strong enough to do it, but then I think it all became too much.
‘I was angry at the way I was being edited and it turned me into a terrible person, with a terrible attitude.’
