X Factor star Samantha Chawner tied the knot with long-term partner Matthew Parkinson in a beautiful wedding in Manchester on Saturday.

The reality star, 36, who appeared on the ITV talent show with sister Emma, ​​34, in 2009, was not accompanied by her sibling or father Phillip, 68, on her big day after a bitter family feud.

The wedding took place just two months after the tragic loss of Chawner matriarch Audrey, who “passed away peacefully in her sleep” at the age of 73, with whom Samantha reconciled on her deathbed.

In snaps obtained by The mirror the bride looked stunning in an ivory dress as she showed off her stunning 10 stone weight loss and posed next to her groom in his elegant blue three-piece suit with matching fedora.

Telling the publication: ‘I was really shocked because she was so thin and blind and couldn’t talk, but I told her I loved her and she touched my hand. She knew I was there and I felt like I had made peace with her.”

Samantha further claimed that she was not welcome at her mother’s funeral and because her father was absent from her wedding, a neighbor escorted her down the aisle.

They were joined by 100 guests as Shania Twain’s From This Moment On played as the bride entered the venue.

Samantha and Matthew have been a couple since 2019 after meeting on a dating website and have sadly suffered three devastating miscarriages during their relationship.

Emma also spoke of her ‘sweet’ and ‘caring’ mother in a tribute on a GoFundMe page, set up to raise money for the funeral.

“My mother was a sweet, caring, respectful lady and I miss (her) so much,” she wrote in the description.
