The musician continued, “Created with some of the world’s greatest songwriters. My story… support its independence. We’ve had 3 top 5 eps. I know my fans are the best!!!!
‘This album is for you, I wanted it to be a body of work where you can hear my voice singing, songs that could have been written for Frank Sinatra & Amy & Ella, all the songs that move you and for the musicianship. only the very best. Woman to Woman pre-order now.’
Laura was the favorite to win the talent show but was thrown out after judges Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell failed to save her.
Judge Dannii said: ‘The Laura debacle has highlighted that anything can happen any week. Now that Laura is gone, Team Minogue’s main competition is Diana and Alexandra – they’re amazing.”
Cheryl was furious with her fellow judges Simon, Dannii and Louis after they voted out Laura following her sing-off against Ruth Lorenzo.
Meanwhile, Laura admitted that the pressure of being one of the favorites to win had gotten to her and affected her confidence during her performance.
She said The sun at the time: ‘The pressure is increasing and it could have consequences for you. I didn’t completely lose confidence, but I worked so hard for so many years and I really believed this would be my big break.”
Laura admitted that the comments about her appearance were particularly difficult to bear.

Simon especially had a problem with her styling and complained about it every week.
She explained: ‘The comments bothered me a bit, but Cheryl always said, “Just stick with it – they find it hard to say something bad about your singing, they have to say something.”
Organizers of an online petition supporting Laura at the time urged Ofcom to launch an investigation into the show’s voting procedures.
The issue was raised by her local MP Andy Burnham in the Houses of Parliament, who claimed her departure from the show was ‘harsh’.
Her debut single You Should Have Known was released in 2009 and peaked at number 32 in the UK Singles Chart.
