Sean Froggatt, 52, and Mariana Cheri Taitoko, (pictured), 44, were allegedly held against their will in a unit on Levett Street in Wyong, on the New South Wales central coast, since Thursday to Saturday.

A woman accused in connection with the alleged kidnapping and torture of two people for three days used to leave compliments about one of her alleged victims.

Sean Froggatt, 52, and Mariana Taitoko, 44, were allegedly held against their will in a unit within a housing commission block in Wyong, on the central coast of New South Wales, since Thursday to Saturday.

Mr. Froggatt’s lifeless body was discovered in the unit’s dormitory after Ms. Taitoko managed to escape and call the police from a friend’s house on Saturday afternoon.

Daniel Hasapis, 30, was charged with murder and kidnapping, while his hairdresser girlfriend, Bonnie Cullen, 33, was charged with concealing a felony.

Hasapis allegedly beat and tortured Mr. Froggatt throughout the three days and allegedly set him and Ms. Taitoko on fire with a ‘jet flame’.

He suffered ‘severe’ burns to his chest and arms. Cullen, who rented the unit and shared it with Hasapis, is not accused of being responsible for Mr. Frogatt’s death or the woman’s abduction.

In recent months, Cullen had left comments about Ms. Taitoko’s photos on Facebook.

Bonnie Cullen, who has been charged with concealing a felony, often complimented Ms. Taitoko online.

“You look stunning ma’am xo,” he captioned an eight-month-old photo of the 44-year-old.

In a previous post of a selfie of Ms. Taitoko, Cullen commented, “So cute, I love you with straight hair.”

Police say the alleged torture and kidnapping was related to an unpaid drug debt.

NSW Police Superintendent Chad Gillies said the four people knew each other.

Mr. Froggart had lived in the same unit complex, while Mrs. Taitoko lived nearby.

Hasapis was arrested at the unit on Saturday and his girlfriend Cullen was handcuffed while visiting a relative in Watanobbi.

Neighbors said they didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary when they saw the four people together on Australia Day.

A neighbor told Daily Mail Australia that Froggatt was a nice guy. “He was harmless,” he said.

It wouldn’t hurt a fly.

The woman said she ran into Ms. Cullen several times in the building, but she never saw her boyfriend.

She said she didn’t hear any unusual noises Saturday.

“I’ve been here 20 years and I’ve only seen Bonnie three times,” he said.

“I didn’t really get involved with her or our other neighbors. We become attached to ourselves.

Froggatt had been living with epilepsy and needed a caregiver.

Both Cullen’s and Hasapis’s affairs were mentioned in the Wyong Local Court on Monday, however neither appeared nor applied for bail.

They will remain in custody until their next appearance on March 28.

Flowers and a newspaper detailing the incident have been left outside the unit.
