The first WrestleMania led by Triple H was a resounding success as the first night saw two title changes and many magical moments delighting a crowd of over 80,000.
WWE hit SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and night one of their event featured legends like John Cena and Rey Mysterio, with contrasting fortunes.
There were also two of the most popular babyfaces the company has had in recent memory vying for gold in the main event.
Night two will have a lot to live up to after WWE delivered one of their all-time shows to kick off the weekend.

The first WrestleMania led by Triple H was a huge success on the first night of Saturday.

John Cena made his way to the ring with a crowd of Make-A-Wish kids for one of the all-time feel-good WrestleMania entries.
The pair fought hard in the early exchanges and Theory managed to get out of an STF that Cena has used to push many men away.
As Cena performed his five fatal moves and moved into his Attitude Adjustment finisher, the referee was knocked out as Theory tried to wrestle free and subsequently missed the 25-year-old tapping into the STF.
Theory would take advantage with a cheap shot, land the A-Town Down to secure the biggest win of his career thus far, by a mile.

Theory hit Cena with his finishing move after using a low blow while the referee was down.
Street earnings def. Viking Raiders, Ricochet and Braun Strowman, Chad Gable and Otis
This was the fun and entertaining carnage it should be. The flyers dazzled and the big men also joined the airborne party.
Highlights saw Chad Gable nail a German Suplex over the 6-foot-8 Braun Strowman and every man involved in a superplex with Ricochet on top of the men’s mountain.
Strowman started running over people at ringside until Angelo Dawkins cut him off on the pass.
Ricochet nailed a shooting star pressure to the outside and then inside the ring, before a Montez Ford frog splash sealed the win in a thoroughly entertaining contest.
Seth Rollins defeated. logan paul
“I got a zip line for my birthday,” exclaimed Logan Paul as he made his way into a packed SoFi arena, descending from the top of 70,000 seats.
It was accompanied by a PRIME drink in the latest brand move that would prove more significant than first glance.
KSI would be revealed as the human mascot at ringside for Paul, as the PRIME co-owner got involved in the matchup, but was put on a table for his issues.
Despite Paul’s valiant effort, Rollins would pick up a much-needed victory. However, Paul’s stock couldn’t be higher.

Paul displayed incredible athleticism in almost every turn against the best in the industry.
Becky Lynch, Lita and Trush Stratus def. Ctrl Damage
The six women were fighting before the match even started, setting the tone for the battle to come.
The legends were well cared for by the younger opponents and made sure the action was snappy and creative.
Lita’s hot tag was a throwback for longtime fans, but the rudos took control of the action with Bayley dictating the proceedings.
Stratus’ hot tag broke up the action and a moonsault from Io SKY to the outside took down all the competitors. A Manhandle Slam from the top rope saw Becky Lynch’s team win the contest.
Rey Mysterio defeated. dominik mysterio
It was father against son in a deeply personal battle that saw many others get involved in the family business.
Rey’s wife and daughter, Dom’s mother and sister, were ringside and both got into altercations with Dom during the match before The Judgment Day arrived as backup.
Legado Del Fantasmo, now the LWO with Rey, made the save and it looked like Dom was going to get the win after he hit a 619 and hit a chain.
However, Bad Bunny made sure Dominik couldn’t cheat his way to win and allowed Rey to do his own 619 for a historic win.

The match started with some grappling exchanges that Dominik got the better of.
Rhea Ripley def. Charlotte Flair – SmackDown Women’s Title
It was a tough opening between two opponents who know each other very well but have changed a lot since they last met.
Ripley showed her power, catching Charlotte from the top rope after rolling, but Flair matched the challenger’s power with her own cunning as she reversed a Riptide attempt into a Spike DDT.
A German suplex from the top rope on Flair drew huge whoops from the crowd, but the Queen responded by nailing Natural Selection for a close two count.
Flair got out of a Riptide and Ripley got out of a Spear as the women began trading strikes. However, a Riptide from the top rope was ultimately enough to eliminate Flair.

Ripley showed his power but Flair matched the challenger’s power with his own cunning
Pat McAfee def. the miz
For whatever reason, hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg decided he could do matches on the spot, and for an even stranger reason, WWE allowed it!
McAfee made a dramatic return to challenge WrestleMania host The Miz to a quickie match styled The Rock against Erik Rowan at WrestleMania 32.
McAfee dazzled with his athleticism and when Miz tried to leave, San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle pulled him out of his expensive suit.
Back in the ring, former NFL punter McAfee kicked Miz in the face for the historic upset victory.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeat. The Usos – WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship
The best WWE storyline this year, and perhaps the last decade, saw Sami Zayn search for a family in Bloodline before suffering his cruel betrayal.
Eventually, in his moment of need, his best friend was there for him and helped lead the Canadian couple to a historic victory.
Tag titles had never been on the line in the main event of WrestleMania in 39 iterations, but Zayn’s three Helluva Kicks on Jey Uso and an Owens stunner on Jimmy clinched the victory.
It’s a main event with the fairytale ending many fans have been craving, but the quality of the match will also stand the test of time.

The Canadian pair challenged the reigning Tag Team Champions, The Usos, in the main event.
