The WWE is on the verge of re-signing two superstars as the organization continues to treat fans to shocking returns.

The news comes shortly after wrestling legends Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and CM Punk both made stunning returns to the organization.

IN November, Punk ended his nine-year exile from WWE after a few years with the second-largest wrestling promotion in the world, AEW.

Meanwhile, 'The Rock' returned to the WWE on a recent Monday Night RAW and called for a possible superfight with Roman Reigns.

Now the organization appears ready to bring two more former stars back into the fray after their contracts with other organizations expired.

The first of those superstars is former two-time women's world champion Naomi.

Naomi – real name Trinity Fatu – has been missing from WWE since leaving on May 16, 2022 and has since been signed to Impact Wrestling.

However, reports indicate that she is expected to be a free agent soon and will likely secure a stunning return to the WWE.

After initially signing with the WWE in 2009, Naomi won multiple world championships and the Women's Tag Team Championship.

The second superstar set to return is Andrade El Idolo.

Andrade spent two and a half years with rival organization AEW, but recently took time to thank company executives after his contract expired.

“I want to thank you for this time of belonging to the @aew company and especially to Tony Khan. I also want to say goodbye to all the talent, security people, cameramen, referees and everyone who works in the company for being part of my time at AEW'.

AEW chief Tony Khan confirmed that Andrade's AEW contract expires at the end of 2023. Khan said he has a lot of respect for Andrade and wanted to keep him in AEW, but they couldn't come to an agreement.

Now expectations are that Andrade will re-sign with the WWE, with whom he was signed between 2015 and 2021.

During that time, he won one NXT Championship and one WWE United States Championship.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stunned WWE fans when he recently appeared on Monday Night RAAW and called out Reigns.

During his cameo, 'The Rock' discussed why he was really back as we head into the pinnacle of the WWE calendar.

“I'm going to get something to eat,” he explained. 'Should The Rock be in a box? Or should The Rock sit at the bar? Or should The Rock… sit at the head of the table?'

The last sentence was a clear shout-out to Reigns, nicknamed 'Head of the Table', the current undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
