WWE superstar Liv Morgan was arrested Thursday in Sumter County, Florida following a traffic stop PW insider.
Morgan was initially apprehended after an officer spotted the yellow Jeep she was driving crossing the white and yellow lines of a County Road.
According to the arrest warrant, “the odor of marijuana was detected” as the officer approached Morgan's car.
The 29-year-old was arrested for possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) and possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoid.
A “small plastic bag containing marijuana” and a vape pen containing “an oily substance” were found in the vehicle. The substance was later tested and also found to be marijuana.
Former WWE Women's Champion Liv Morgan was arrested for marijuana possession in Florida.
At just 29 years old, Morgan has held multiple titles throughout her WWE career
Morgan was reportedly released on bail later that same evening.
The New Jersey native originally began her WWE journey in 2014 with the company's developmental brand NXT before making her main roster debut in 2017 as a member of the 'Riot Squad' alongside Ruby Riott – now known in AEW as Ruby Soho – and Sarah Logan who was released from WWE before recently returning to the company under the name Valhalla.
Since then, Morgan won the 2022 Women's Money in the Bank match before cashing in and defeating Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women's Championship later the same night.
She also held the WWE Women's Tag Team titles alongside her then-partner Raquel Rodriguez.
Morgan has been out of action for the past five months after dealing with a shoulder injury suffered in July and it was recently said that she would be tested sometime in December to determine her medical progress.
She was last seen at the premiere of the upcoming film 'Iron Claw' supporting good friend and AEW World Champion MJF, who not only starred in the film but also worked as one of the executive producers.
