Charlotte Flair had to be helped out of the ring on Friday after suffering a knee injury during her match with Asuka on WWE SmackDown.
The 37-year-old noticeably favored her right leg as the fight ended, before shouting “my knee” as referee Charles Robinson and medical staff attended to her after the match.
Flair struggled to complete the fight and limped in the final moments of a match that came to an abrupt end after interference from Bayley allowed Asuka to pin her.
According to PWInsiderthe WWE superstar suffered the injury when she was “preparing for a move but slipped and got stuck on the ropes,” with the outlet noting “twisting her knee.”
The incident was not shown during the broadcast. There is no update on her condition after the SmackDown Tribute to the Troops special.

Flair's fans will be hoping her injury isn't too serious now that the Royal Rumble is on the horizon.
