WWE legend The Rock is finally bringing his £2.75bn tequila brand ‘Teremana’ to the UK as the Hollywood A-lister expands his empire… as Blanco hits the shops before other drinks follow later in 2024

Actor and wrestler Dwayne Johnson has once again proven that he is also a business mogul after launching his Teremana Tequila in the United Kingdom.
Johnson is currently back at work on the set of his latest project, portraying former UFC heavyweight champion Mark Kerr in the biopic, The Smashing Machine.
However, ‘The Rock’ has still managed to find time to bring his prized drink across the pond, having originally founded the brand in 2020.
Speaking about the launch, Johnson said: ‘It is a privilege to now be able to share ‘the Mana’ with Britain.
“The launch of Teremana Tequila in the UK is a new chapter for us in creating this legacy brand that I envisioned. Britain is a special place to me, and I can’t wait to share the Mana at many Teremana® toasts in the years to come.”

Teremana Blanco is currently available, with two more variants set to hit UK shelves this month
The name ‘Teremana’ means ‘spirit of the earth’, coming from the Latin word ‘terra’ meaning earth and the Polynesian word ‘Mana’ which loosely translates to spirit.
Fans of ‘The Rock’ can treat themselves to three different variations of the tequila, one of which is available now and two others later this month.
Teremana Blanco – the variant currently available – has tasting notes of bright, fresh citrus with roasted agave, tropical fruit and a hint of lemongrass, with a soft, fresh finish.
Meanwhile, Teremana Reposado – with rich notes of roasted agave, oak, vanilla, spices and tropical fruit – and Teremana Anejo – with a slightly sweet and complex finish – will hit UK stores later this month.
As the Teremana team revealed, they start with 100 percent fully mature Blue Weber Agave plants. Once harvested, the heart of the plant, or ‘piñas’, is slowly roasted at low temperatures in small traditional stone ovens for 3 days and distilled in handmade 100% copper pot stills, for a smooth finish.

The small-batch premium tequila was originally founded by Johnson in 2020, where he played an active role in selecting the final liquid
In May, Johnson shared footage of himself training in mixed martial arts on social media as he prepared for his role as Kerr in the biopic.
In a series of clips posted to his 397 million Instagram followers, the 52-year-old is seen hitting the pads, practicing takedowns and working on his ground-and-pound in a ring.
The Rock recently enjoyed a successful return to professional wrestling, competing in a tag-team match alongside Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
His age-defying performances in the WWE ring led to fans calling for a longer-term return to the squared circle.
