WWE legend Natalya is handed THREE new Guinness World Records, taking her tally to a staggering SIX

WWE wrestler Natalya has been awarded three new Guinness World Records, bringing her collection of accolades to a whopping six.

The Queen of Harts now holds the records for most Wrestlemania appearances by a woman, most matches by a woman in WWE, most wins by a woman in WWE, and most Smackdown matches by a woman.

She also leads the way by participating in the most Raw matches for a female wrestler and the most premium live events for a female.

And speaking to Mail Sport’s Alex McCarthy ahead of Saturday night’s Money In the Bank Event, the 41-year-old revealed her joy at how she’s starting to gain recognition in the sport and around the world.

Natalya said, “I had three world records and I was contacted by Guinness and they touched it and said, ‘Hey, we’ve got a surprise for you! We heard you’ll be in London and we wanted to present you with three more world records.

She sat down with Mail Sport’s Alex McCarthy ahead of Saturday night’s Money In The Bank Event at the O2

“So it was such a cool surprise and something I wasn’t expecting, so it’s really, really cool.” So most matches, most wins, most premium live events, most Wrestlemania matches, most Raw matches, most Smackdown matches.”

Natalya added: ‘It’s very cool. Very humble, but it’s exciting and it’s so nice to be recognized by Guinness. I always joke with people who they’re not records of, like the longest fingernails. It’s just a testament to the years I’ve worked in WWE.”

This will be her 16th year on the WWE circuit and speaking about how much the achievements meant to her, the Queen of Harts reiterated how humbled it was to receive these accolades.

“It’s so special because it’s like on this journey in WWE you don’t really realize that this is my 16th year and like I never added up all the work I was doing and one day it was like ‘Hey, you and Randy Orton have the most wins,” she said.

And Randy and I were laughing because we got tagged on Twitter by Guinness, and I was like “I didn’t know I had that many wins!”

“And so it’s just nice to be recognized and celebrate things like this because it’s such an honor for me to be able to work with WWE and of course we’re here in London, big show tonight – Money In The Bank. And of course our fans in the UK are really second to none, they really are the best in the world.”

But it looks like she’s still hungry for more and could now break a new record of having the most submission wins of any man or woman in WWE history, and admits she’s come close to surpassing that record.

Natalya: “I know there’s one I’d love to make a new world record out of, it’s the most wins by a man or woman in WWE history. So no one has won a contest via submission more than I have – no man or woman. Not even Bret Hart. The assassin actually won many actions via roll-up, via quick pin. He actually didn’t win many matches with the sharpshooter. And that was brought to my attention by the WWE universe. I was like, ‘oh my god,’ so that’s my next record that solidified.”

“I think it’s about 250 plus submission wins, so literally a third of the wins I’ve had in WWE have been via submission.”

Speaking about her motivations for keeping her going, she admitted, “I love working with new women and new talent, you know, getting the chance to get in the ring with Rhea Ripley and the thought of one day having a rivalry to have with Bianca Belair and a lot of women at NXT.

“I loved working with Cora Jade. There are so many amazing women at NXT that I would love to work with. And of course I’d like to do more with so many of the talented women, I had a match with Zoey Stark a few weeks ago – that was really fun.

“I’d like to kick Trish Stratus.” So a little Canadian showdown,’ she said with a laugh.

“But I think there are so many more great stories to tell and I think that’s the great thing about WWE we’re going all year long producing content forever and so I get a chance to interact with women from our past present and future – that’s what drives me. They can challenge and pass on my experience, but also learn from them.’

Natalya also provided an insight into some of the female wrestlers that go through her gym, the ‘Hart Dungeon’, as well as a wrestler she hopes to have a rivalry with in the future.

“It’s funny because I watch what they do in the performance center and I think no body can match the magic they make in the performance center. And a lot of people would say, “Are you like a little performance center?” And I’d say no, we’re like a private wrestling club.

“It’s very private and it’s very exclusive and I think of women I’d like to meet on NXT, Cora Jade, I’d also put Tiffany Stratton in the sharpshooter. They always say never judge a book by its cover, but I’ve been impressed by Cora Jade, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez.

“There are so many talented women down there. But Tiffany is someone who came in and it seemed like wrestling wasn’t her journey and she’s killing it and she’s doing it so well and I think she’s going to be a great champion and I’d love to have a rivalry with her.”
