Australian WWE superstar Rhea Ripley has married her wrestler Buddy Matthews.
The Adelaide-born SmackDown Women’s Champion, 27, took to Instagram on Thursday to share the happy news.
She posted a photo of herself kissing her new husband, 35, and simply captioned the post: “Until death. 23.06.24.’
Rhea broke with tradition and opted for a gothic black wedding dress and a vibrant bouquet of flowers.
Meanwhile, Matthews looked dapper in a matching all-black suit.
Followers rushed to congratulate the pro wrestling power couple, including fellow WWE stars Bianca Belair, Kayla Becker, Daphanie LaShaunn and Dominik Mysterio.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram last August.
She posted a photo of herself kissing her smiling fiancé, 34, on a Florida beach and also revealed her unique engagement ring: a large diamond on a black band.

Rhea posted a caption below the photo that read, “1000x Yes! Pure F**cking luck’.
Fellow Aussie Matthews also commemorated the moment on Instagram with a photo at Cocoa Beach Pier in Florida, with the caption “my sunshine in the sunshine!”
Matthews has also found success in his American wrestling career and the pair previously worked together in the WWE. He now works for AEW.
Ripley became the first Australian to win the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37 in 2021.
She quickly became known for her taxing hardcore-style matches – and while the results are predetermined, there’s nothing fake about getting slammed into a pile of thumbtacks or thrown from a ladder onto a table.
