Wrexham players were curing their hangovers by chilling poolside at a luxury hotel on the Las Vegas Strip before heading back into town for the evening after their first ‘monster’ night in Sin City .
The entire squad of the team posed for a group photo while holding cardboard signs with the club’s lettering and logo on a sunny, warm day at 74 degrees.
Forward Elliot Lee was spotted enjoying a beer in a lime bottle by the Wet Republic Ultra Pool at the MGM Grand with teammate and dragon defender Eoghan O’Connell on Friday.
Lee has scored 12 goals in 45 appearances this season to help the Welsh club win promotion back to the fourth tier of the English Football Championship (League Two).
Irish midfielder Thomas O’Connor, who was formed at Southampton before enjoying stints at Gillingham and Burton Albion, was seen relaxing and scrolling on his phone on a long chair while taking in the Vegas sun.

Friday was a sunny, warm day at 74 degrees in Vegas, and many people were enjoying the start of the weekend at the lush pools of the MGM Grand
“The Kilkenny man is taking over Vegas,” Lee shared on Instagram. The trio are believed to be joining their other teammates at Omnia – a three-story club in Caesars Palace, which offers DJs and dancing plus bottle service and fantastic views of the Strip.
Club winger Ryan Barnett, 23, also shared a photo of himself in the pool with former Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster. The duo faced a drunken day with three other teammates, including Welsh midfielder Jordan Davies and England defender Ben Dozer.
“One of us,” Barnett wrote of Davies. He also described Foster as a “friggin legend” in his Instagram post.
Before diving into the pool, the 40-year-old former Manchester United, Watford and West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper posed for a photo with Wrexham’s Irish defender and teammate Anthony Forde, who was coming through the ranks at Wolverhampton.

For his part, Forde was part of an Instagram selfie with fellow defender and former Nike Academy player Jordan Tunniclife, 29.
The pair flaunted their close friendship and huge crowd at the pools of the MGM Grand, wearing hats in the same color (beige).
Wrexham – this season’s National League champions – have been given an all-expenses-paid four-day trip by their co-chairs Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to celebrate their record-breaking season with 111 points.
On Thursday, after landing at Harry Reid International Airport in Vegas, the players partied at Hakkasan nightclub.
Earlier in the evening, they hit a modern Chinese restaurant in MGM Grand, where the minimum price for a dish is $148.
