A new therapy similar to a vampire facial for your vagina is said to treat bladder leakage and vaginal dryness.
London-based women’s health specialist Dr Sarah Jenkins, who has more than a decade of experience as an NHS doctor, appeared on This Morning to show how intimate health procedures can be life-changing for women.
Dr. Sarah explained that she uses PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections to help rejuvenate the vulva and vagina after menopause or birth.
“This is not an indulgent treatment, it is about managing medical symptoms for which no other treatment is available,” she said.
She added: ‘We use small Botox needles, so it wouldn’t even hurt more than Botox, and we inject into the clitoris, which is called the O injection, and we inject around the vagina and that really helps to rejuvenate. the skin.’
Women’s health specialist Dr Sarah Jenkins from London revealed on This Morning how a vampire facial for your vagina would treat bladder leaks and vaginal dryness
The O-shot is injected into the clitoris, labia and vaginal wall to improve sensation, tighten vaginal laxity and increase lubrication.
PRP injections use the patient’s own blood cells to speed healing in a specific area. It is an alternative to using hormone replacement therapy for people suffering from vaginal atrophy and related symptoms such as pain, dryness and recurrent bladder infections.
A sample of the patient’s blood is taken and the PRP is separated from the other blood cells and injected into the patient, which stimulates growth factors, fibroblasts, and a healing cascade proven to improve common female intimate health problems.
One of Dr Sarah’s patients, mother of three, Gina Sigobodhla, was on the show to explain her own success story after suffering a ‘third-degree tear’ during the birth of her first son.
Gina, 46, (left) revealed she struggled with low libido, incontinence and a complete lack of sexual confidence
Dr. Sarah explained: ‘So you take your patient’s own blood, it’s like liquid gold. You inject it into it. This sends signals to the body to indicate that there is tissue damage.
“And that brings all those lovely growth factors into your bloodstream and it reforms the collagen and elastin. It thickens the skin back up and also helps with the natural lubrication and tightening it up a little bit.”
The healing properties in the plasma and platelets stimulate stem cells, creating new blood vessels and nerves.

After a traumatic birth of her twins, she suffered from preeclampsia and felt like her body was no longer hers.
Gina, 46, revealed she struggled with low libido, incontinence and a complete lack of sexual confidence.
But after undergoing a vampire vagina treatment, Gina said she felt like her best self again.
She said: ‘Most of the symptoms have reduced, for example going up and down to the toilet at night used to be three, four or five times, also the dryness, that feeling has come back.
‘After three months I started to get the feeling that something had actually changed. I placed my complete trust in Dr. Sarah because the examination was completed. ‘
Dr. Sarah added: ‘It gives women back their quality of life. If you wake up and think: how will my vulva behave today, how many changes of clothes should I bring, how many sanitary pads should I wear, are the pads I am wearing going to give me thrush? do I get diaper rash, where is the toilet, how do I travel to work, do I smell like urine, these are the things women say to me.
“And they don’t have to have had a traumatic birth, they don’t have to have had children at all.”
