A man has died in a horror workplace accident at a local business after a pallet truck fell on him.
The accident happened at the business on South Road, Croydon Park in Adelaide’s north at 7.30am on Friday.
The man was using the machine when he suddenly fell backwards before the pallet truck fell on top of him, crushing him.
Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene, but the 62-year-old man from the nearby suburb of Parafield Gardens could not be saved.
Earlier, apprentice workers from a neighboring business had rushed to help lift the machine from the man as paramedics arrived 7 news.

The police prepare a report for the coroner.
Officers from Safe Work SA are at the workplace investigating the incident along with officers from the South Australia Police.
