An employee has revealed that his bonus check was canceled three days after he deposited the money in the bank and it cleared.
An unnamed woman took to Reddit to share the shocking incident that happened to her husband, who works at the same company as her.
In a thread titled, Terrible bossesshe revealed that they paid their bills with their bonus checks.
However, three days after the couple paid their bills, the bank informed them that a “stop payment” notice had been placed on one of the checks.
She unleashed her angry tirade when people on the internet suggested she ‘sue’ her boss.

The message was captioned: ‘Sorry…..we’ve canceled your bonus check.’
The woman explained, “My husband and I work for the same company. We had a nice Christmas party at this restaurant this week, it was very expensive and everyone drank and ate.’
After the extensive dinner, the couple’s boss gave a beautiful speech in which he thanked his employees for their hard work and handed out their bonuses.
The Reddit user added, “Boss gave this speech about how he is so grateful to all of us and that we really make the company what it is. Gave us all our bonuses and we went home for the day. Cool. We put our checks in the bank. The next day there was a clean up, so I paid our bills.”
However, three days later the couple were shocked to wake up to a flood of emails from their bank.
She explained: ‘The third day I wake up to a whole bunch of emails from the bank saying a ‘stop payment’ has been made on one of those cheques.
“Our boss stopped payment on my husband’s bonus check the day after handing it to him.
‘Why? Because of his “unwillingness to do his job”. This is total BS.

“He has gone above and beyond for this company, working over time and taking time out of his own spare time to get the job done.
‘Who’s doing this? Has this ever happened to you? I’d like to know.’
