Woolworths is now selling fairy bread hot cross buns and the limited edition flavor is already a big hit.
Nostalgic foodies were delighted to discover the new purchase, which has seen thousands of baked goods flying off supermarket shelves since Boxing Day.
The hot cross buns ($5 for a pack of four) are decorated with pink icing and come in packs of 100 and 1,000 for DIY application.
“This is my favorite flavor yet,” one shopper revealed on TikTok. 'I'm obsessed with it. I have to go back and buy more.”
“Not only are these delicious, but they look so beautiful,” said another. 'I love the pink and burst of color of the funfetti.'

Many shoppers gave the hot cross buns a rave review.
“Woolies got away with it,” someone said. “I believe in the supremacy of Fairy Bread, so this is a ten.”
“I added some speculoos instead of butter and sprinkled the 100's and 1000's on top – delicious,” one home chef revealed.
“Perfect, no notes,” someone said simply.
One man added: 'Biscoff on one side, Nutella on the other, and butter with sprinkles on top. The best I've ever tasted.'

Some were devastated that the sandwiches had already sold out – so they decided to take matters into their own hands.
'I couldn't find the Fairy Bread rolls, so I bought regular hot cross buns with fruit, buttered them and dipped them in sprinkles. It's actually fantastic!' said a man.
While others were excited to get their hands on the popular purchase.
“I'll have to buy some at my next shop,” one woman said. “My kids will love it.”
'So nostalgic!' said another. 'I want to cry with happiness.'
'I'm normally a traditional girl, but the novelty has gotten the best of me – maybe I should try this one!' one commented.
The hot cross buns are now available in Woolworths stores and online across Australia.
Brioche Cadbury Chocolate, Indulgent Chocolate buns and a Woolworths favourite, Cadbury Caramilk hot cross buns, are also up for grabs, along with more traditional flavours.
