Woolworths announce recall on product sold at supermarkets in NSW and QLD

Supermarket giant Woolworths is issuing an urgent recall of popular delicatessen product

An urgent recall has been issued for a deli favorite after the wrong meat was placed in its packaging.

The recall for Gotzinger Wood Smoked Kabana 400g, which was sold in Woolworths, IGA and Drakes stores across Queensland, was issued this week.

The product may also have been on sale at Woolworths stores in northern New South Wales.

Cheese crackers have been found in the packaging of the smoked kabana product, raising fears that they could be consumed by people with allergies not listed on the packaging.
