Woody Harrelson and Flea reminisce about snowboarding NAKED down a mountain: ‘It’s actually great footage’

Woody Harrelson and Flea reminisce about some great times from the past… including naked snowboarding.

Flea (born Michael Peter Balzary), 62, appeared on the podcast with Harrelson, 63, and his Cheers co-star Ted Danson Where everyone knows your name.

Harrelson and Flea have known each other for a while. The actor says they’ve gone snowboarding a lot. Flea says, “Remember when we went snowboarding naked?”

Harrelson, who made headlines in May when Hootie and the Blowfish singer Darius Rucker revealed that the actor saved his life, couldn’t help but laugh.

“He and I snowboarded naked. I have footage of Woody Harrelson and I snowboarding naked on a big snowy mountain,” Flea confirmed.

Harrelson asked where that was and Flea said it might be Utah, but he wasn’t sure.

“It’s really great footage,” Harrelson insisted, while Flea added. “I was going to post it on Instagram, but Laura (Harrelson’s wife) warned me against it. It might not be wise, because our dicks are floating around in there.”

Danson joked that it was cold outside, in their defense. Harrelson said, “That would be my only defense.”

Harrelson said of his friend, “We’ve had more laughs, more fun. I have to say I’ve had the best moments with you.”

“He’s very zen… but he’s also competitive,” Harrelson said, to which Flea agreed, though the bassist did note a difference between them.

“Unlike you, I love the competition, I don’t really care if I win or lose,” Flea said, as Harrelson insisted, “I’m exactly the same!”

“I’ve seen you sulk after the loss,” Flea said with a laugh, as the bassist began to reminisce about “one of the last times” they went snowboarding together.

“We were racing and we were both being reckless, so let’s be honest, we’re going really fast, but we’re just average snowboarders, we have to admit that,” Flea said.

“We’re racing and I lose control going down the hill and almost run over a woman, but I don’t. I swerve and we race, it’s all good,” he said.

He adds that the lady came down and started shouting at him and that Flea sincerely apologized… but she started pushing her ski pole in his face, at which point Woody came to his rescue.

“You and I get in the elevator, and you’re just about ready to fight, and you start screaming, ‘I’ll wait at the top of the elevator. I’ll wait at the top.’ And you say to me, ‘Nothing can make me happier. Nothing can make me happier than that f—ing guy coming up there.’ And I realized there’s a joy that you find in impending chaos,” Flea said, while Harrelson admitted that was true in his past, but no longer.
