“Me and my family need closure and I just want to know what happened to my dear little brother,” Mr Whitworth said 9News.
“Zach kept to himself, he was a nice, polite person. He was kind, loving and caring and he didn’t hang out with the wrong people.’
“I heard my brother had picked up cigarette butts and he had been stabbed.”
Mr Bevilaqua was found with his watch and hat next to him, but his older brother said his chain had been taken.
Tanaya Kissack, 21, with whom Mr Bevilaqua shared a daughter, paid tribute to her ‘caring’ partner.
“He was an incredible partner and father who always put us first,” she told The West Australian.
The couple was together for about four years and only welcomed their daughter into the world ten months ago.
